Job summary

Agricultural Recruitment Specialists is seeking a hands-on HGV Driver to join the team. The role involves delivering orders across the region, loading/unloading, and supporting yard and warehouse activities.

You will communicate with customers, ensure loads are secure, and maintain vehicle readiness. The ideal candidate holds an LGV Cat C license, understands safety checks and load security, and is reliable, organized, and comfortable working alone or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Hold a current LGV Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• Understand road safety, vehicle checks and load security.
• Be reliable, organised and able to work independently.
• Be physically fit and willing to undertake manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely and on time to customers.
• Load vehicles, check orders and secure loads.
• Contact customers to confirm delivery timings and access.
• Perform vehicle checks and comply with regulations.
• Assist with goods in/out and yard duties.
• Keep the yard clean and organised.
• Support branch team with general duties.
