Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV Class 2 drivers for Portbury, Bristol. Join HG Recruitment and benefit from competitive pay, weekly wages and ongoing shifts.

Days shifts start around 05:00 with multi‑drop deliveries, a Driver Mate, and ongoing work. You must hold a UK HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph Card, with up to six points, and be capable of manual handling and customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than six points on licence for minor endorsements.
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and Working Time rules.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to complete multi-drop deliveries and manual handling.
• Reliable and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries.
• Two-person deliveries alongside a Drivers Mate.
• Average shifts of 810 hours.
• Day shifts starting at 05:00.
• Minimum eight paid hours per shift.
• Ongoing work.
• Manual handling required.
• The first 45-minute break is unpaid.
