Job summary

Driver Hire Wakefield is seeking an HGV Class 2 driver for waste collection work across Yorkshire, based in Wakefield. You will join a regular, ongoing role with predictable shifts and a strong health and safety culture.

Shifts run 06:30–17:00, Tuesday to Friday, with an ongoing contract until the end of September and potential extension. The pay rate is £17.00 per hour with overtime available, reflecting a stable opportunity within a busy transport network.

Qualifications

• Experience in HGV Class 2 driving required.
• Valid CPC and Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on license.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
