HV Excavators Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver who wants to train as a VAC EX Operator. This is not a normal driving job—the truck is mainly a vehicle for site transport while you learn a specialist, hands-on skill with VAC EX equipment.

Hours are about 50 per week with overtime as required, and work locations vary. You will drive to sites, operate the power arm and vacuum excavation gear, perform daily checks, and follow RAMS and health & safety rules in a collaborative site

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence / Valid CPC.
• Good understanding of vehicle safety and daily checks.
• Reliable and hardworking attitude.
• Strong commitment to health & safety.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors and on active sites.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• VAC EX experience is NOT required - FULL training will be provided.

Responsabilités

• Driving the VAC EX vehicle to and from site.
• Operating the power arm and vacuum excavation equipment.
• Carrying out work safely and efficiently.
• Operating specialist equipment on active construction and infrastructure sites.
• Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks.
• Following RAMS, site procedures and health & safety requirements.
• Working closely with site teams and customers.
• Looking after the vehicle and specialist equipment.
• Working outdoors in a variety of environments.
