Job summary

Driver Hire Portsmouth is seeking a Class 2 Skip or Tipper driver for immediate start in Portsmouth and surrounding areas. This temporary role offers £18.50 per hour and a flexible shift pattern to suit different schedules.

Suitable candidates will hold a valid Class 2 licence with CPC and Tacho, and be prepared to handle skips or tipping work. Full training will be provided where needed and you will join a team dedicated to reliable waste deliveries and service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (HGV/LGV, Category C) licence with a clean driving record.
• Valid CPC card and Tacho Card.
• Experience with skips or tipping is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 2 skip or tipper vehicles for the delivery and collection of waste products.
• Maintain high standards of customer service when dealing with clients.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and reporting accurately.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
