Job summary

Driver Hire Winchester are looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 Skip Driver to join one of our long-standing clients, a leading company within the waste and recycling industry. If you're an experienced Class 2 driver who enjoys being out on the road, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and is looking for a secure, long-term opportunity, we'd love to hear from you!

This role offers a 12-week temp-to-perm pathway with Monday to Friday shifts, starting at 6:30am and

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence required.
• CPC qualification required.
• Digital Tachograph card required.
• Minimum of 12 months' Class 2 driving experience.
• Previous skip driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Own transport to travel to and from the depot.

Responsibilities

• Delivering, collecting and exchanging skips across Southampton and the surrounding areas.
• 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity.
• Mon–Fri shifts with weekends off.
• 6:30am start times with long shift lengths; 10–12 hours per day.
• Full training and ongoing support provided by our client.

£250 sign-up bonus after successfully completing your first 10 shifts.

The Role

• 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity
• Monday to Friday - enjoy your weekends off!
• 6:30am start times with average shifts of 10-12 hours
• Delivering, collecting and exchanging skips across Southampton and the surrounding areas
• Full training and ongoing support provided by our client

What You'll Need

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
• Minimum of 12 months' Class 2 driving experience
• Previous skip driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Own transport to travel to and from the depot
• A positive attitude, excellent timekeeping and strong customer service skills
