Job summary

AWD Online is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver for Cranleigh, Surrey. This role blends professional driving, removals work and customer-facing service, with daytime and occasional night shifts.

You will transport the vehicle and crew to client addresses, assist packing/loading, complete paperwork and ensure safety and compliance. The role offers a basic salary with overtime and benefits, plus progression opportunities to Team Leader.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 / Category C driving licence.
• Hold an up-to-date Driver CPC and Digi Tacho Card.
• Previous HGV driving experience preferred.
• Physically fit to pack, carry, load and unload items.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including some nights away and Saturdays.
• Polite, professional and reliable with good customer communication.
• Hold a valid passport.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicle and crew to client addresses for removals.
• Support packing, loading and unloading of goods.
• Dismantle and reassemble furniture when required.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure loads are secure and paperwork is accurate.
• Provide courteous customer service during moves.
• Comply with UK and European safety regulations.
