Job summary

Drivers Today are recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) multi-drop drivers for ongoing pallet distribution work in Stoke-on-Trent. You’ll carry out pallet deliveries and collections across the area on regular day shifts, with a reliable supply of shifts and weekly pay.

The role requires a valid Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, Tachograph card and prior Class 2 experience. A professional attitude and good knowledge of the local area are essential; tail lift/pump truck experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 / Category C licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Multi-drop or pallet-network experience preferred.
• Confidence operating curtain-sided vehicles.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• A reliable, professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Driving Class 2 curtain-sided vehicles.
• Multi-drop pallet deliveries and collections.
• Deliveries to commercial and industrial premises.
• Loading and unloading using appropriate equipment.
• Completing delivery paperwork.
• Daily vehicle safety checks.
• Providing a professional service to customers.
