Zohorecruit in Birmingham is recruiting reliable HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers for regional pallet network operations. Expect 45–50 hours per week, Monday to Friday starts around 06:00–07:00 with guaranteed shift hours and potential temp-to-perm pathways.

You must hold a valid UK HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph card, plus 6–12 months’ driving experience and a clean record. Duties include pre-trip checks, load securing, POD documentation, and delivering across

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, Driver CPC qualification card, and Digital Tachograph card.
• Minimum 6–12 months commercial Class 2 driving experience preferred (multi-drop or tail-lift advantageous).
• Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR/DD/IN endorsement codes).
• High commitment to road safety, punctual deliveries, and courteous customer-facing attitude.

Responsabilités

• Operate rigid curtain-side and box vehicles delivering palletised freight across Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk.
• Conduct mandatory daily pre-trip walk-around safety inspections and tail-lift testing.
• Ensure safe load strapping and correct use of pump trucks/tail lifts.
• Accurate handling of electronic consignment notes, customer signatures, and POD confirmations.
• Maintain punctual timed deliveries and professional customer interactions.
