Job summary

Birmingham, United Kingdom-based Zohorecruit is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 drivers for high-volume temperature-controlled logistics. You will have 45–50 hours per week, with day/evening shifts and 4-on/4-off rotas. Immediate starts follow site induction, with dedicated transport coordination support.

Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph card, and have clean driving records with no DR/DD/IN endorsements. Apply for stable temp-to-perm opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial Class 1 driving experience.
• A licence with no more than 6 minor points.
• No DR/DD/IN endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily pre-trip walk-around safety inspections of vehicle.
• Monitor trailer refrigeration temperatures and ensure temperature integrity.
• Complete temperature log sheets, electronic delivery manifests and POD sign-offs.
• Adhere to EU Drivers’ Hours, Working Time Directive (WTD) and tachograph rules.
• Handle temperature-controlled distribution to supermarket RDCs and national hubs.
• Coordinate with transport team for routes and scheduling.
