Job summary

Zohorecruit in Northallerton is looking for reliable HGV Class 2 drivers for regional pallet network deliveries. You will handle multi-drop routes, conduct daily pre-trip checks, and maintain safe operations with tail-lift equipment.

Expect 45–50 hour weeks (Mon–Fri), start times around 06:00/07:00, and immediate starts after induction and assessment. Ongoing overtime opportunities and a clear path to long-term roles are available.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, Driver CPC qualification card, and Digital Tachograph card.
• Minimum 6–12 months commercial Class 2 driving experience.
• Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR/DD/IN endorsements).
• High commitment to road safety, punctual timed deliveries, and courteous customer-facing attitude.
• Typically 10 paid hours per shift with opportunities for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Regional deliveries across Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, and Norfolk.
• Safe pre-trip walk-around inspections and tail-lift operations.
• Ensure compliance with EU Drivers’ Hours and tachograph rules.
• Accurate handling of electronic consignment notes, POD confirmations.
• Support from transport coordinator and planning team.
