Job Opportunity: HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) in Dundee

The Recruitment Crowd is recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Dundee area. We are seeking multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join our team on a part-time/ad-hoc basis.

Hours: Typically Mondays and Saturdays, 6am - 9am start.

Pay Rate: £13.01 per hour (PAYE).

Location: Dundee, DD2.

Job Type: Ongoing with potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.

The Role:

• Transport palletised parcels to couriers or from delivery units safely.
• Manage 4-5 drops per run, ensuring safe and efficient driving, and keep paperwork updated.
• Use tail lift/pump truck to handle pallets at depots.
• Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams for smooth operations.
• Complete theory and practical assessments to meet safety and operational standards, followed by paid training if successful.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Understanding of WTD legislation.
• Ability to operate tail lift and pump truck equipment.
• Willingness to undertake a driving assessment.
