Job summary

Nationwide Platforms Ltd., the UK market leader in powered access, is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver to deliver and collect powered access machines on a low loader. Training is provided, and the role emphasizes safety and excellent customer service.

You will join a team that prioritises safety and professional customer interactions, with a 45-hour week and a range of benefits including life assurance and pension. Training is provided to ensure high standards of operation.

Qualifications

• Must hold HGV Class 2 licence and a full CPC card.
• Experience delivering plant or recovering vehicles is preferred.
• Strong customer service ethos and appreciation for health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload machines in line with company code of practice using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain security of load during transport and delivery.
• Hand over machines to customers and familiarise them with operation.
• Carry out daily checks on vehicle and ancillary equipment.
• Comply with vehicle safety, tachographs and working time legislation.
• Relay customer queries to depot staff as required.
• Act as an ambassador for Nationwide Platforms with high standard of customer care.
• Accurately complete all relevant paperwork.
