Job summary

GAP Group is seeking an experienced Driver for its Plant & Tool Division in the UK. You will load, deliver and collect hire equipment such as diggers, dumpers and power tools, on-site demonstrations, and ensure all checks and paperwork are completed accurately.

You will operate across construction, utilities and infrastructure sites, upholding safety standards and delivering excellent customer service while keeping projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a driving role delivering plant or tool equipment
• Full UK driving licence with Category C (HGV) entitlement
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork accurately
• Professional, friendly approach when dealing with customers and colleagues

Responsibilities

• Load, deliver and collect hire equipment safely and professionally
• Demonstrate kit on-site and complete all checks and paperwork accurately
• Navigate busy city streets and rural roads to keep projects moving
• Keep customers and sites satisfied by reliable, timely deliveries and returns
