Job summary

GAP Group is seeking an HGV Driver to join its Plant & Tool Division, delivering diggers, dumpers and power tools to construction, utilities and infrastructure sites across the UK. You will load, deliver, collect hire equipment and ensure all checks and paperwork are completed accurately.

You'll work across busy city streets and rural roads, maintaining safety and professionalism while supporting project sites and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a driving role, ideally delivering plant or tool equipment.
• Full UK driving licence with Category C (HGV) entitlement essential.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork accurately.
• A professional, friendly approach when dealing with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate kit on-site when required and ensure checks and paperwork are completed accurately.
