Job Description:

The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Plymouth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team part-time.

Shifts: Part-time hours, typically Monday, Friday, and Saturday, with additional shifts during the week.

Hours: 01:00-04:00 starts.

Location: Plymouth, PL6.

Job Type: Ongoing, with an opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.

The role includes:

• Securely moving and transporting palletized parcels to and from sub-depots and delivery units.
• Handling runs with 1-5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Utilizing tail lift and pump truck equipment for loading and unloading.
• Interacting professionally and courteously with customers, representing the company.
• Emptying the vehicle and refueling at the end of each shift.
• Completing a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards, followed by paid training if successful.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving license with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on license (minor offences only).
• Understanding of WTD legislation.
• Ability to operate tail lift and pump truck equipment.
• Willingness to undertake a short driving assessment.
