Salary: £15.86 p/h to £25.16 p/h

Pertemps are working in partnership with the Royal Mail, the UK's designated Universal Postal Service Provider. We are seeking HGV Part-Time Drivers for the Exeter site, working weekends. If you are looking for work, our onsite team across the country is ready to help you start immediately.

As an HGV Weekend Driver, after successfully completing an assessment, you will trunk parcels and mail between depots across the Royal Mail Network. The work involves manual handling, and shifts are offered one week in advance.

We offer competitive pay rates and a variety of start times and days to suit your schedule. Flexibility is preferred, especially for those willing to work weekends or shifts into the evening or night.

Entry Requirements:

• Hold your licence for at least 2 years with no more than 5 penalty points.
• Ideally, have a clean licence; exceeding 5 points may result in termination of the assignment.
• Have a minimum of 180 days driving experience within the last 2 years in relevant categories for commercial use.
• No more than 10 infringements over 12 months, with no more than 6 in the same category over 6 months.
• Be prepared to check your Digi tacho before assessment, as errors may lead to failure.
• Be fully comfortable with manual entries on the Digi tacho.

Endorsements such as DD, DR, IN, or CD are not accepted.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to pass a CRB security check after registration.
