Job summary

Millison Chase Limited is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for ongoing General Haulage and Palletised Distribution work with a number of leading transport and logistics clients across the UK.

This role involves operating modern 18-tonne and 26-tonne rigid vehicles, completing 1–10 deliveries or collections per shift, with local, regional or nationwide routes and start times from 05:00am. A focus on professional driving and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience driving HGV Class 2
• Deliver palletised freight to RDCs/NDCs/warehouses
• UK driving licence and CPC required

Responsibilities

• Complete general haulage deliveries and collections
• Deliver palletised freight to RDCs, NDCs, warehouses and commercial premises
• Complete between 1 and 10 drops or collections per shift
• Operate modern HGV Class 2 rigid vehicles safely and professionally
• Use tail lifts and electric pump trucks where required
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and defect reporting
• Follow Driver's Hours and Tachograph Regulations
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
