Job summary

Millison Chase Limited is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing retail store distribution across the UK. You will operate modern articulated lorries, undertake 1–2 drops per shift, and ensure loads are secured with straps while complying with Driver's Hours and Tachograph regulations.

This in-house role offers regular PAYE pay, ongoing work throughout the year, potential long-term and permanent opportunities, and a direct employment path with Millison Chase Limited.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 1 year's Class 1 driving experience.
• Desirable experience with curtain-side or box trailers.

Responsibilities

• Completing retail store deliveries and collections.
• Carrying out 1 to 2 drops or collections per shift.
• Operating articulated Class 1 vehicles with box-bodied trailers.
• Delivering safely to RDCs, NDCs, retail stores, and commercial premises.
• Securing loads using straps and internal restraint systems.
• Carrying out daily vehicle and trailer safety checks.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Following Driver's Hours and Tachograph Regulations.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations.
