Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known client based in Severn Beach, Bristol. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Night Drivers to join the team on an ongoing basis, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidates.

Shifts run nights; weekend work included; full training provided. The role requires a Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement, in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card, and a safety-first approach.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement.
• Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Understanding of WTD legislation.
• Willingness to complete a short driving assessment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Safety-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting palletised parcels to couriers and delivery units.
• Completing runs with approximately 4–5 stops.
• Loading and unloading using a tail lift and pump truck.
• Maintaining accurate paperwork and following safe working practices.
• Providing a professional and courteous service to customers.

Shifts & Pay

• HGV Class 2 Nights
• Monday to Sunday - 22:00pm to 23:59pm starts
• Weekend availability required
• £17.59 per hour PAYE
• Ongoing work with the opportunity for permanent employment

The Role

• Safely transporting palletised parcels to couriers and delivery units
• Completing runs with approximately 4–5 stops
• Loading and unloading using a tail lift and pump truck
• Maintaining accurate paperwork and following safe working practices
• Providing a professional and courteous service to customers

Requirements

• New Pass Welcome
