Driver Hire is recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver (Multi-Drop & Moffett) based in Witham, Essex. You will handle 6–10 drops daily, load and unload safely, and represent a leading glass manufacturer with high professional standards.

We offer 47 hours weekly at £16 per hour, paid weekly, with early starts from 4:00am and occasional overnight stays. This permanent, full-time role suits drivers who value safety, customer service, and reliability.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Moffett licence highly desirable.
• Experience with multi-drop routes preferred.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Professional, reliable and safety‑conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Safely delivering glass products to customers across the UK.
• Loading, securing and unloading loads with some manual handling.
• Operating a Moffett forklift where applicable.
• Planning routes to meet customer deadlines and maintain paperwork.
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting defects.
• Working with the transport team to ensure smooth deliveries.
