Job summary

Manpower UK Ltd in Erith is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for multi-drop deliveries in a leading logistics operation. The role offers a competitive salary, temp-to-perm progression after 12 weeks, and on-site parking.

You will be responsible for safe multi-drop routes, vehicle safety checks, accurate paperwork, and maintaining high levels of customer service, complying with DVSA regulations and tachograph rules.

Qualifications

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience.
Previous multi-drop delivery experience.
Valid Driver CPC qualification.
Digital Tachograph Card.
Good knowledge of UK driving regulations and transport legislation.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to carry out manual handling duties.
Reliable and professional approach to work.

Responsibilities

Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles with multi‑drop deliveries.
Complete scheduled deliveries accurately and on time.
Perform daily vehicle safety checks and report defects.
Ensure loads are secured and transported safely.
Maintain delivery paperwork and driver records.
Plan routes to maximise efficiency and meet schedules.
Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.
Assist with loading and unloading when required.
