Job summary

You will deliver goods safely across scheduled routes, conduct safety checks, load/unload when needed, and maintain records while complying with UK driving regulations. A competitive salary of £42,000 per year is on offer.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Minimum 2 years of Class 2 driving experience.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience.
• Good understanding of UK transport legislation and driving regulations.
• Ability to carry out manual handling duties.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Reliable and professional approach to work.
• Clean driving licence preferred.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts where required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 (Category C) vehicles, including double-deck units.
• Complete multi‑drop deliveries across scheduled routes.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks.
• Ensure loads are secured safely and correctly.
• Maintain delivery and vehicle records.
• Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules.
• Communicate professionally with customers and transport teams.
• Assist with loading and unloading when required.
• Comply with all UK driving regulations, tachograph requirements, and health & safety procedures.
