Job summary

Gotpeople in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our client's team. You will perform multi-drop deliveries, ensure safe loading, and maintain professional customer service. A valid HGV Class 2 licence with CPC and 18+ months driving experience is required.

Shifts typically run between 14:00 and 18:00 with a minimum of 8 hours per shift. The role includes daily vehicle checks, wearing PPE, and a 7‑day rota.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods safely and efficiently to customers.
• Unload cages into stores, involving physical work.
• Perform multi-drop deliveries across London and the South East.
• Follow allocated set routes and participate in a rota system.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and promptly report defects.
• Ensure deliveries comply with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service when engaging with clients.
• Adhere to all driver hours and road safety regulations
