Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV Class 2 drivers for a permanent role with a leading UK manufacturer supplying the construction sector. You will deliver goods across the UK to builders’ merchants, sites and commercial customers on planned routes with regular hours.

Role involves daily vehicle checks, compliance with health and safety regulations, and occasional unloading. Full-time, permanent position with competitive pay and overtime opportunities; starts immediately.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Current Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Minimum 12 months’ Class 2 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to builders’ merchants, construction sites and commercial customers across the UK.
• Complete daily vehicle safety inspections and comply with transport regulations.
• Adhere to planned routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Assist with unloading the vehicle when required and maintain professional customer service.
