Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester is seeking reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers for ongoing work in Quedgeley, Gloucester. You will handle 2–10 deliveries daily, using tail lifts, with early starts from 04:15–06:00 and Monday–Friday schedules where requested.

Responsibilities include safe driving, professional customer service, and accurate paperwork. Benefits include weekly pay, paid holiday, PPE provided, and opportunities for licence CPC training.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 9 penalty points for minor offences.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Willingness to undertake manual handling duties.
• Good levels of physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Complete between 2 and 10 deliveries per day.
• Load and unload goods using tail lifts and pallet trucks.
• Manual handling of products including units and boxed items.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.
• Complete all vehicle and delivery paperwork accurately.
• Adhere to road transport and health & safety regulations.
