Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver in Erith. The role involves local and regional deliveries Monday to Friday with pre-planned routes and start times around 6:00am. No manual handling; forklift loading at sites.

You will drive curtain sider vehicles, complete 8-9 deliveries per day, and be paid weekly with overtime after 8 hours. A steady, ongoing workload is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence with CPC and tachograph card.
• No DD/DR/CD endorsements and max 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out local and regional deliveries to commercial customers.
• Operate curtain sider vehicles and use forklifts at client sites where needed.
• Adhere to drivers' hours and road transport regulations.
• Pre-planned delivery routes with start times around 6:00am.

Pay Rates:

• £17.58 per hour for the first 8 hours worked each day
• £26.68 per hour after 8 hours

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for an ongoing position based in Erith. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent Monday to Friday work with regular weekly bookings.

Job Details

• Monday to Friday
• Start time: 6:00am
• 10-12 hour shifts
• Ongoing work with regular weekly bookings
• Driving a curtain sider vehicle
• Approximately 8-9 deliveries per day
• Local and regional deliveries to commercial customers
• No manual handling required - all goods are loaded and unloaded by forklift at customer sites

Driver Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving experience
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum of 6 penalty points for minor offences only
• No DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements
• Good understanding of drivers' hours, working time regulations and road transport legislation
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach
