Royal Mail is seeking safety‑focused HGV/Class 2 (C) drivers to support nationwide operations from Edinburgh. You will carry out trunking runs between depots, on planned routes, with morning, evening and weekend shifts available.

Role offers guaranteed minimum hours, weekly pay and pension; onsite parking and canteen facilities; support from a dedicated Pertemps team on site.

Formación

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence (C) held for 1+ year.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Strong awareness of road safety and compliance.
• Good driving history with up to 6 penalty points.
• Ability to pass driver vetting and a DBS check.

Responsabilidades

The Role

You’ll carry out trunking runs between Royal Mail depots, transporting mail and parcels across the network. No handballing – just clean, organised, professional driving on planned routes. A variety of morning, evening and weekend shifts are available.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport mail and parcels between Royal Mail sites
• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain high safety standards
• Follow planned routes and scheduled delivery times
• Represent Royal Mail with professionalism at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 2/ C licence held for 1+ years
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Strong awareness of road safety and compliance
• 180+ days of Class 2 driving in the last 12 months
• Maximum 6 penalty points
• Ability to pass driver vetting and a DBS check
