Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail in Exeter is seeking an experienced HGV driver (Class 1/C+E) for temporary/ongoing work. You will trunk between Royal Mail depots, handle planned routes, and maintain high safety standards with professional conduct.

Roles include varying shifts (morning/evening/weekends), weekly PAYE pay, and onsite facilities. A valid licence, CPC and DBS check are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence held for 1+ years.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong road-safety compliance and driving record.
• 180+ days of Class 1 driving in the last 12 months.
• Maximum 6 penalty points.
• Able to pass vetting and DBS check.

Responsibilities

The Role

You’ll carry outtrunking runs between Royal Mail depots, transporting mail and parcels across the network. No handballing — just clean, organised, professional driving on planned routes. A variety ofmorning, evening and weekend shiftsare available.

What We’re Looking For
