Job summary

A&G Resourcing Ltd is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Ely. Earn £17/hour PAYE with a £60 weekly bonus once permanent, plus £26.20 per night out. Typically around 2 nights out per week.

The role includes early starts, daily checks, and about 10 home deliveries per day, with loading/unloading and manual handling. It's a temp-to-perm position with long-term prospects and an immediate start.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 2 driving licence – max 3 points.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience.
• Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours and WTD regulations.
• Willing to do night outs – usually around 2 per week.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Complete approximately 10 home deliveries per day.
• Loading and unloading products.
• Manual handling and handballing involved.
• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure.
• Operating curtain-sided vehicles.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations.
