Job summary

Driver Hire Manchester North & Oldham is seeking reliable HGV Class 2 drivers to join our team as Draymen. You will be responsible for safe, timely delivery of goods across local routes, with excellent customer service and care for our vehicle and products.

The role offers flexible start times, immediate starts, weekly pay, and ongoing opportunities including temp, temp-to-perm, and part-time roles. Full training is provided where needed to ensure compliance with CPC and tachograph requirements.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence (Category C) required.
• CPC and digital tachograph card essential.
• Local route knowledge and reliable, punctual work ethic.
• Training provided for dray/delivery tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods safely and on time across local routes.
• Maintain excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Care for vehicle and products; comply with Tachograph and CPC rules.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team as a Drayman. You will be responsible for safe, timely delivery of goods across local routes, with excellent customer service and care for our vehicle and products.

Requirements

• Full, valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Good knowledge of local roads & routes
• Strong customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual and hard-working
• CPC & Digital tachograph card essential
• Previous dray/delivery experience preferred BUT NOT ESSENTIAL AS FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED
