Job summary

Driver Hire Manchester North & Oldham is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver (Drayman) to join our team. You will be responsible for safe, timely deliveries on local routes and providing excellent customer service while looking after the vehicle and cargo.

Ideal candidates hold a full HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence with CPC and tachograph card. Full training is provided; flexible start times and weekly pay are available, with ongoing temp, temp-to-perm and part-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full, valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence and CPC & Digital tachograph card.
• Must have good knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Strong customer service skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods across local routes in a timely and safe manner.
• Care for the vehicle, cargo and your own safety.
• Provide excellent customer service on every delivery.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team as a Drayman. You will be responsible for safe, timely delivery of goods across local routes, with excellent customer service and care for our vehicle and products.

Requirements

• Full, valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Good knowledge of local roads & routes
• Strong customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual and hard-working
• CPC & Digital tachograph card essential
• Previous dray/delivery experience preferred BUT NOT ESSENTIAL AS FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED
