Vector Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver for a drainage maintenance role near Sleaford, Lincolnshire. The position combines driving with hands-on drainage tasks in a two-person crew, delivering safe and efficient highway maintenance.

The job offers day and night shifts with overtime opportunities and a potential move to permanent employment after a temporary period. Training and support are provided to develop specialist equipment skills in a highways context.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to assist with drainage operations.
• Reliable team player with commitment to health and safety.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn specialist equipment.

Responsabilités

• Drive and operate specialist HGV Class 2 vehicles, including 18-tonne Vacuum Tankers and Combination Units.
• Work alongside a drainage operative as part of a two-person crew.
• Assist with the clearance, cleaning and maintenance of highway drainage systems.
• Support the safe operation of specialist drainage equipment.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
