Job summary

Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting an HGV Class 2 Driver for a drainage maintenance role near Sleaford, Lincolnshire. You will drive 18-tonne vacuum tankers and related units as part of a two-person crew, maintaining highways drainage systems and supporting specialist equipment.

The position offers regular weekday hours, strong earning potential with day and night shifts, and the opportunity to progress into permanent employment. Full training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to assist with drainage operations.
• A reliable team player with a strong commitment to health and safety.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn specialist equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate specialist HGV Class 2 vehicles, including 18-tonne Vacuum Tankers and Combination Units.
• Work alongside a drainage operative as part of a two-person crew.
• Assist with the clearance, cleaning and maintenance of highway drainage systems.
• Support the safe operation of specialist drainage equipment.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
