RECRUIT123 LIMITED in Leicestershire is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 driver who wants more than just driving. This role blends hands-on drainage work with training to become a Jet Vac Engineer, with full training provided.

You will operate drain and sewer cleaning equipment on domestic, commercial, and industrial sites, joining a small family-run team that values honesty and practical problem solving.

Qualifications

• You must hold a Class 2 Driving Licence enabling tanker driving.
• Previous experience as HGV Class 2 Driver.
• Live within a 30-minute drive of Coalville.
• Willingness to undertake training for the Jet Vac role.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit for manual work and vehicle checks.

Looking for an HGV Class 2 driving role that offers something different from simply being behind the wheel?

This position combines HGV Class 2 driving with the opportunity to train as a Jet Vac Engineer. You don't need previous drainage or Jet Vac experience, as full training will be provided.

The role is with a small, established, family-owned business providing drainage solutions across domestic, commercial and industrial markets. They offer a friendly yet professional working environment and pride themselves on delivering an honest and knowledgeable service to their customers.

They're looking for someone with experience working as an HGV Class 2 Driver who is happy to get involved in the practical side of the job and learn new skills.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A Class 2 Driving Licence, enabling you to drive tankers
• Previous experience working as an HGV Class 2 Driver
• To live within a 30-minute drive of the main office in Coalville
• A willingness to undertake the training required for the role
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team, supporting other operatives and engineers when required
• To be confident carrying out daily and weekly maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure everything remains fully operational
• A good level of physical fitness, as the position involves manual work

What you'll be doing:

You will be trained to operate drain and sewer cleaning vehicles and machinery, working across commercial and industrial sites as well as residential properties.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out emergency and planned drain cleaning and cleansing work
• Emptying septic tanks and interceptors
• Working alongside other engineers to assist with additional drainage tasks when required
• Operating a van pack jetting unit as required

Salary:

£30,000 - £38,000 per year, plus overtime and on-call bonus.

Hours:

Working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with core hours of 7.30am - 4.30pm.

Some flexibility will be required around start and finish times. Overtime and weekend work is also available.

On-call rota:

The on-call rota is currently 1 week in 4, Monday to Friday. You will also be required to be on call for either a Saturday or Sunday once every four weeks. Bank Holidays are worked on a rota basis.
