Job summary

Speedy is looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with HIAB and ADR qualifications to join our Tamworth depot. You will deliver and collect hire equipment, operate a HIAB-equipped vehicle, and ensure safe handling and timely deliveries while delivering excellent customer service across local sites.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance with ADR and tachograph rules, and working with the depot team to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• HIAB / Loader Crane qualification.
• Valid ADR qualification.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous UK HGV driving experience.
• Good knowledge of local roads and area.
• Safety-focused, reliable and professional approach.
• Full UK driving licence with ≤6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting hire equipment from customer sites across the local area.
• Operating an HGV Class 2 vehicle with HIAB loader crane.
• Safely loading, securing and unloading equipment.
• Transporting equipment in accordance with ADR requirements.
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and complying with road transport regulations.
• Providing excellent customer service as the face of Speedy.
• Collaborating with the depot team to ensure smooth deliveries.

HGV Class 2 Driver with HIAB and ADR qualifications

to join our busy Tamworth depot.

As one of our drivers, you'll play a vital role in keeping our customers moving, ensuring equipment is delivered and collected safely, efficiently and on time.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering and collecting hire equipment from customer sites across the local area.

• Operating an HGV Class 2 vehicle fitted with a HIAB loader crane.

• Safely loading, securing and unloading equipment.

• Transporting relevant equipment and materials in accordance with ADR requirements.

• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and ensuring compliance with road transport regulations.

• Providing excellent customer service as the face of Speedy.

• Working closely with the depot team to ensure deliveries run smoothly.

What we're looking for

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

• HIAB / Loader Crane qualification.

• Valid ADR qualification.

• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

• Previous experience driving HGV vehicles within the UK.

• Good knowledge of the local area and road networks.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• A safety-focused, reliable and professional approach.

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
