Job summary

Balloo Hire Centres in Belfast is seeking a HGV Class 2 Driver to join the transport team. You will deliver and collect hire equipment across Northern Ireland, perform daily vehicle checks, and maintain a clean and presentable vehicle, while staying health-and-safety aware in a fast-paced setting.

The role offers a permanent contract with 45-hour weeks (Mon–Fri plus Saturday AM every other week) and additional benefits including pension contributions and profit-share potential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Solid team player with good interpersonal communication.
• Good geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting a range of hire equipment across Northern Ireland.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintenance.
• Keep the vehicle clean, tidy and presentable at all times.
• Demonstrate health and safety awareness in a busy environment.
