Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Daventry is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. You will deliver goods efficiently and safely, adhering to Driver’s Hours, HGV regulations, and our safety standards, with a start time pattern of 3am or 21:00 shifts as described.

A valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card are essential, with ideally 12 months of recent driving experience and curtain-side vehicle familiarity.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience.
• Previous experience with curtain side on HGVs.

Responsibilities

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products
