Job Advertisement: HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) - Weybridge

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Weybridge area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours: Days or nights, 5 shifts out of 7 (weekends included) on an advanced rota basis.

Pay Rate:

• Days: £15.11 per hour PAYE.
• Nights: £17.37 per hour PAYE.

Location: Weybridge, KT13

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.

The role:

• Working set shifts (rota planned in advance), 5/7 shifts every week – days or nights.
• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
• Handling runs with 1-2 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Assisting with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck may be required.
• Interacting with customers and representing the company professionally and courteously.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• Minimum of 6 months experience.
• Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Understanding of WTD legislation.
• Willingness to undertake a short driving assessment.
