Staffline is recruiting Class 2 HGV drivers for a full-time, temporary-to-perm role at their Thames Valley distribution centre in Thatcham. The position covers depot deliveries to Knightsbridge and online orders, with immediate start available.

You will operate a large rigid vehicle in London, follow driving regulations, complete vehicle checks, and maintain a smart appearance. 2+ years HGV2 experience preferred; Digi-card and DQC required.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 driving experience required.
• Digi-card and DQC must be current.
• Approximately 2 years+ of recent HGV2 driving experience.

Responsabilités

• Depot delivery work to a Knightsbridge store and online orders.
• Trunking and delivering to a prestige store in a safe, timely manner.
• Adherence to driving regulations and health & safety protocols.

Staffline Recruitment Ltd are extremely proud to be working in partnership with a well-known luxury retailer at their Thames Valley Distribution Centre

in Thatcham.

We are looking for professional

Class 2 lorry drivers

to join a state-of-the-art facility that supports our client's flagship store in Knightsbridge as well as their online/e-commerce orders and boutique stores.

Contract: Initially a long-term temporary assignment, until mid-January/late February 2027, with the opportunity for a permanent role for the right candidates

Rate of pay:

£19.53 - £20.32 per hour

Hours: 8-hour shifts

starting at 11:00 am and 12:30pm

Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7 on a 4-week rota basis

Your Time at Work

As a Class 2 HGV Driver, the work will involve depot delivery work trunking a variety of retail products in a safe and timely manner to a prestigious store location in Knightsbridge.

You must demonstrate a professional, mature 'team player' attitude with strict adherence to driving regulations while also ensuring all health and safety protocols are followed.

Strong understanding of HGV driver legislation including being fully conversant in completing daily manual entries and following comprehensive vehicle checking processes is essential.

You must be of a smart appearance and completely confident operating a large rigid vehicle in London and manoeuvring safely in limited space areas.

Our Perfect Worker

As a Class 2 HGV Driver, you must have:

• No more than 3 points on your licence (none acquired driving a commercial vehicle)
• Hold a current Digi-card and DQC
• Have around 2 years+ current and recent experience driving HGV 2 vehicles
