Job summary

Recon Recruitment is seeking a committed HGV Class 2 Driver for our exclusive client based near Ilkeston. You’ll deliver nationwide using curtain siders and box trailers, with focus on safe reversing and trailer hookups.

Start times are 08:00 daily, Monday to Friday. A valid CPC and Tacho card are essential, and licence points must not exceed six. This is a full‑time role in a busy logistics environment.

Qualifications

• A valid CPC and Tacho card are required.
• Licence must show no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to customer sites nationwide using the client's fleet.
• Operate curtain siders and box trailers; reverse and hook trailers as needed.

Recon Recruitment are currently looking for committed and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver for our exclusive client based in Ilkeston.

Our client is one of the UKs most well known pallet network companies. Providing a variety of products nationwide.

The position involves delivering to their companies across the country and operating a range of vehicles and equipment including curtain siders and boxtrailers on their fleet.

You need to be confident in reversing and hooking up trailers.

Start times will be 0800 every day.

You will need

• A valid CPC and Tacho card.
• No more then 6 points on your licence.
