Job summary

Booker is seeking drivers to join a local delivery team in the United Kingdom. You will drive locally, build relationships with regular customers and play a vital role in ensuring on-time deliveries with a high level of service.

This is a 7 day operation with potential weekend shifts. Overtime and fully funded CPC training hours are available to support progression.

Qualifications

• CatC / 18T Licence
• Two years of driving experience
• Delivery driving experience preferred
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude
• Good literacy and numeracy level

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers' shelves are kept stocked with needed products.
• Load stock into the vehicle at the Branch and unload at customer premises.
• Complete paperwork accurately.

You will be responsible for

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

CatC / 18T Licence

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
