Job summary

Resolute Recruitment is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver in Rugby, Warwickshire. The role includes 2–7 drops per shift, mandatory handball, full training, and occasional nights out. Direct, ongoing permanent work with consistent Mon-Fri patterns.

Pay rates are £18.50 per hour PAYE, or £20.71 per hour PAYE (holiday pay included). Starts are immediate and routes are established for efficient delivery days.

Qualifications

• LGV C driving licence and CPC & Digi cards required.
• New Pass Drivers welcome to apply.
• Excellent communication skills and able to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 2–7 drops per shift.
• Assist with handball and loading/unloading as required.
• Full training provided to learn routes and procedures.
• Occasional nights out may be required.
• Permanent ongoing role in Rugby area.

CLASS 2 HGV DRIVER (Rugby) LGV C

~ Permanent Work ~ Mon-Fri ~ Immediate Start ~

Location: Rugby, Warwickshire

Class 2 HGV Driver Pay rates:

• £18.50 per Hour PAYE
• £20.71 per Hour PAYE (Holiday Pay Included)

Class 2 HGV Driver Job role:

• Class 2 HGV Drivers will make 2-7 drops per shift.
• Handball is required in this role.
• Full training provided.
• Occasional nights out required.
• Long Term Ongoing Role

Class 2 HGV Driver Shift pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 - 07:00 Start Times
• 47-54 hours per week

What we are looking for:

• Driver must have valid HGV Class 2/Category LGV C Driving licence
• Must have valid in-date CPC & Digi cards
• New Pass Drivers welcome!
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must work well with others and as an individual
• No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no DR/DD/BA offences)
