The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Plymouth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Shifts: 24 - 40 hours a week, scheduled across Monday to Sunday.

Hours: 01:00 - 04:00 starts.

Location: Plymouth, PL6

Job Type: Ongoing position with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.

The role includes:

• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to and from sub depots and delivery units.
• Handling runs with 1-5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Utilising tail lift and pump truck equipment for loading and unloading.
• Interacting with customers and representing the company professionally and courteously.
• Emptying the vehicle and refuelling at the end of each shift.
• Completing a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards, followed by paid training if successful.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• Valid and current DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on your licence (minor offences only).
• Understanding of WTD legislation.
• Ability to operate tail lift and pump truck equipment.
• Willingness to undertake a short driving assessment.
