Job description

Opportunity: HGV Class 2 Driver

Contract: Permanent

Location: Omagh

Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday – Friday, including Saturday mornings every other week)

Balloo Hire Centres is a leading provider of tool, plant, and welfare equipment hire for businesses and DIY needs in Northern Ireland. As part of The Briggs Equipment Group, we offer local solutions with corporate support.

We have a new opportunity for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our transport team, driving a tanker truck from our Welfare team in Omagh.

In this role, you will:

1. Deliver and collect a range of hire equipment from building sites, businesses, events, industry, and homes across Northern Ireland.
2. Carry out daily checks on your vehicle.
3. Keep your vehicle clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
4. Be health and safety conscious in a fast-paced environment.
5. Note: All applicants must be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes.

To excel in this role, you should have:

1. A valid Class 2 driving licence.
2. Up-to-date Driver CPC and Driver Digi Tachograph card.
3. Excellent communication skills and be a team player.
4. Good geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland.
