Job summary

Extrastaff is recruiting a HGV Class 2 Driver for a UK drink wholesaler. Location is Northfleet, Gravesend and you must live within a commutable distance. Hours are 8am start, Tuesday to Friday, with pay at £16.50 per hour.

Ongoing, no weekends, vehicle pre-loaded and driver mate support provided. Weekly PAYE payments apply. Responsibilities include multi-drop deliveries to pubs, restaurants and clubs across London, Kent, Surrey, and Sussex.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence (C category) with max 6 points.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Good customer service, reliability and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries of drinks, bar and cleaning products to pubs, restaurants and clubs.
• Deliveries in London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
• Manual handling included.
• Completion of paperwork.
• Use of sack barrow to offload.
• Carrying out vehicle checks daily.

Requirements for HGV Class 2 Driver

• HGV Class 2 licence (C category) - max 6 points on licence (cannot accept any DD, DR, or DG offences)

• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
