Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a busy logistics operation in Newent, Gloucestershire. The role offers a guaranteed 45-hour week with a salary of £35,100 per year and overtime paid at 1.33x after 45 hours.

You'll perform multi-drop deliveries across England, loading/unloading, and maintaining paperwork. Early starts from 03:00, Monday to Friday, with a pension and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence
• Current Driver CPC Qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience driving vehicles up to 18 tonnes preferred
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Good knowledge of England's motorway network
• Early starts from 03:00 onwards
• Own transport required due to location

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles (up to 18 tonnes) as part of a busy delivery fleet
• Multi-drop deliveries to customers across England (typically 5-10 drops per day)
• Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently
• Providing excellent customer service at all delivery locations
• Completing all delivery paperwork accurately
• Ensuring vehicles are kept clean, compliant, and roadworthy
• Occasional overnight stays away from home when required

• Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles (up to 18 tonnes) as part of a busy delivery fleet
• Flexibility to drive 7.5 tonne lorries and 3.5 tonne vans on a rotational basis
• Multi-drop deliveries to customers across England (typically 5-10 drops per day)
• Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently
• Providing excellent customer service at all delivery locations
• Completing all delivery paperwork accurately
• Ensuring vehicles are kept clean, compliant, and roadworthy
• Occasional overnight stays away from home when required

Requirements:
