Job summary

People Solutions is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for our Aston, Birmingham client. The role involves early Mon-Fri starts with deliveries, handballing and cage work as part of daily duties.

Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence (Category C) and have at least one year of HGV driving experience. Immediate starts available with ongoing, regular work and consistent weekday shifts.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with handballing and cage work.

Responsibilities

• Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and legally.
• Deliver to customers on assigned routes.
• Load/unload using cages when required.
• Carry out handballing as part of deliveries.
• Complete vehicle checks before and after journeys.
• Ensure paperwork and delivery documentation is accurate.

People Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Aston, Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity offering consistent Monday-to-Friday working, ongoing work and immediate starts. The role involves deliveries with handballing and cage work required. Candidates must have a minimum of one year's HGV driving experience.

£16 Per Hour | Monday to Friday | 4am-6am Starts | Ongoing Work | Immediate Starts Available

Day-to-Day Duties

• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
• Completing deliveries to customers on assigned routes
• Loading and unloading goods using cages
• Carrying out handballing as part of the delivery process
• Completing vehicle safety checks before and after journeysEnsuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Completing relevant paperwork and delivery documentation
• Complying with drivers' hours regulations and road safety requirements

Essential Skills

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Minimum of one year's HGV driving experience
