Job summary

Driver Hire Croydon & Sutton is seeking an HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver for a temporary role that could lead to full-time for the right candidate. PAYE £18.75 including holiday pay, based in Croydon. You will deliver building materials using an electric pallet truck and tail lift.

Requirements include a UK Category C licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver CPC Card and no more than 6 points. Start at 06:30, Monday–Friday, with shifts of at least 8 hours. London and Home Counties areas are served.

Responsibilities

HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver

Temporary but will lead to a full time role for the right candidate.

We are seeking an additional Cat C (HGV Class 2) Driver for one of our customers based in Croydon. The work will involve delivering building materials using an electric pallet truck and tail lift.

As a HGV Class 2 (Cat C) driver you must have:

• UK Category C licence
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Driver CPC Card
• No more than 6 points for minor offences
• There may be some restrictions for insurance purposes (please phone for details).

The successful HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver can expect:

• 06.30 start time
• Monday - Friday operation, shifts minimum 8 hours
• No weekend work
• London and Home Counties delivery areas
• Weekly pay every Friday

This position would also be suitable for Cat C multidrop, pallet, building supplies and general haulage delivery drivers. Is commutable from Sutton, Coulsdon, Purley, Mitcham, Thornton Heath and Wallington, with your own transport, also from area of Greater London
