Driver Hire Romford is seeking Class 2 HGV Drivers for a temp-to-perm role with an environmental and recycling business. No previous HGV experience is required as full training and ongoing support are provided to help you develop in the role.

You will drive a Class 2 truck to collect waste from customer locations, perform daily vehicle checks, and represent the company professionally as the face of the business.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 2 HGV licence (or have recently qualified).
• No prior HGV driving experience required; full training and ongoing guidance provided.
• Reliable and committed to safety and timely collections.

Responsabilités

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle to collect food waste from customer locations around the depot area.
• Ensure timely and efficient collections and maintain daily vehicle checks.
• Represent the business professionally as the face of the company.
• Return waste to the facility where it is processed into renewable energy.

Class 2 HGV Drivers – Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting for Class 2 HGV Drivers on behalf of a leading environmental and recycling business.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers who have recently gained their Class 2 licence, as no previous HGV driving experience is required. Full training, guidance and ongoing support will be provided to help you develop within the role.

The position is offered on a temp‑to‑perm basis, giving you the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle to collect food waste from a variety of customer locations surrounding our depot.
• Ensuring timely and efficient collections.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and helping keep our fleet and people safe.
• Being the face of the business – professional, polite, and dependable.
• Returning the waste to our facility, where it's processed into renewable energy.
